However, Vapor Fresh Disinfecting Wipes are extremely affordable as well. It's just that EPA-registered disinfecting wipes are generally more expensive than other wipes.

Why would I use a wipe that doesn't kill germs?
Not all gyms want or need a disinfecting wipe. One of the most common reasons for going with a value wipe instead of a disinfecting wipe is if you already have a dedicated cleaning staff going through the gym with a disinfectant.
In this scenario, using a disinfecting wipe would be going above-and-beyond to keep the gym equipment clean. There's nothing wrong with that, but for many gyms, that is not within their budget.
I prefer an unscented wipe.
